I switched from a gas cooktop to an induction cooktop when we renovated our kitchen. The Thermodor induction cooktop we installed looks sleak and modern in my kitchen. It is so easy to keep clean. Especially compared to a gas cooktop. I was disapppointed to say goodbye to some favorite pots/pans that were no longer useful. But I quickly acclimated to my new cook ware. It was easy to learn how to cook with induction. I can set the heat level very precisely. I continue to be so impressed with how fast pans and their contents become hot. Probably one of my favorite benefits is how little excess heat comes off the cooktop. No wasted energy going into the air! I am happy to not have to worry about gas fumes and chemicals inside my house.
