AB STEAM of Acton invites you to the Acton Flood Solutions Showcase to see final projects and judging. Several student teams have been working on flood solution projects since August 2025.

The students have worked on two prompts related to water and flooding in Acton.

1. How can the Town better manage the beaver population?
2. How can Acton storm drains be better designed?

The student solutions should help make Acton more resilient in the face of beaver populations and storm run-off, while protecting public safety, ecological health, and community infrastructure.

Meet the teams at Danny’s Place for light refreshments from 5pm-5:30pm and final student presentations 5:30-6:15pm.

AB STEAM DiscoverSTEM Online Auction benefitting High School STEAM Clubs ends at 7pm at this event.
